I seem to be landing a lot of fashion photo shoots of late that are shot, not on the beach, but in the surf itself.  We didn’t actually plan to be shooting under the waves on the rocks, but once we had the photos we needed per the storyboard, we moved the shoot into the water.

The height of the waves was quite unpredictable and it just about cost me a camera when one not only washed over the model but me as well.  I saved the camera by holding it at arms length above my head and jumping…

Anyway, this is our hero from the shoot.  We didn’t use it in the ad campaign as the clothes are a bit too wet… but it was sure worth getting wet to take it.
